Why we're here

13 days. 3 men.
Families forever changed.

The Weight of Duty Memorial Match is presented by Zero Signature, Dunnville District Hunters & Anglers, Hooligan Promotions, and The CCFR. This IPSC-style charity match honours three officers from the Ontario Provincial Police, the Toronto Police Service, and the Montreal Police Service, lost in the line of duty.

In just thirteen short days, we lost these men. Three families that will never be the same. Three detachments grieving the loss of a co-worker and friend. Three lives cut short far too soon.

This match is our way of bringing everyone together to honour these three men, to give back to their families in a time of need, and to bring awareness to the often-invisible weight not only carried by first responders, but by their families every single day.

Please help us show what the community can do when we all come together. Whether you're an IPSC, IDPA, 3-Gun or 2-Gun participant, or Law Enforcement/Active Forces, we welcome you to be part of this special event.

The event

Three days.
One purpose.

Six stages and a fastest-draw competition, set alongside fishing, lawn games, and good company — all in service of the families we're supporting.

01
Six IPSC-style stages

Six challenging practical shooting stages, plus a fastest-draw competition, using a combination of IPSC and USPSA targets.

02
Food all day

Breakfast or lunch is included with your match fee. Additional food is available for purchase all day — all food is donated, so every dollar goes to the families.

03
Awards & draws

Medals for first place in each division, plus a trophy for the “Fastest Gun” winner. Sticker contest draws follow the last shot on Sunday.

04
Fishing & lawn games

Between stages, take a break with fishing and lawn games on the grounds.

Open to IPSC, IDPA, 3-Gun/2-Gun, and Law Enforcement/Active Forces. This is an IPSC-style match — a simplified rulebook covering safety and scoring will be provided ahead of the event. A waiver form is required to participate. The awards ceremony follows the last shot on Sunday.
